I posted a picture of the Adidas Originals, Superstar Lite sneaker prior to my trip to France last month. I noticed the Superstar Lite model in a shop in December but didnt get em because the price was kind of steep at the time. I really noticed them when I picked them up, they were oddly, light weight for a shelltop Superstar, obviously different materials for the traditional model. I brought them to dance at Hip Opsession in Nantes France mid February. In between judging the battles, I bounced around a bit, and then of course did my judge solos. I’ve been recently leaning more towards track and cross training sneakers for agility but after a few rounds it was clear that the Superstar Lite felt pretty good gettin down. The visual style of the sneaker and the performance makes this a dope B.Boy sneaker. The black shell is dope, but the shell is covered rubber so, they will scuff at the seams of the shell, ..in addition, the threads in the front may shred so they have to be maintained. Overall, …definitely a favorite. Ken Swift.
